Red Pearl Necklace

Red is a power color. It demands notice. Shy girls rarely, if ever, wear red.

When I had the chance to buy a red pearl necklace, I jumped at it. I LOVE the color red!

People will ask "are red pearls real?" The red pearls that I bought weren't real. They were synthetic. I've never seen a genuine red pearl in my life, and neither have many others. That's because red colored pearls are very, very, very, very, very rarely, if ever, found. You'll see variations of the color red, such as mauve, pink, and off-reddish, but a deep, true red pearl is virtually nonexistent.

Colored pearl jewelry is huge in the world of fashion and accessories. It adds a pop of color and visual interest that traditional white or cream colored pearls don't. Especially in a time where bright, cheery colors are all the rage in clothing, red jewelry adds that finishing touch of polish to any outfit.

If you're not a fan of bright or neon colored clothing, maybe just a touch of red jewelry against a neutral or white shirt would be more suitable for you. It's a great way to introduce yourself to color without a huge monetary or personal investment.

Red isn't just a Christmas color. You'll wear your red pearls more than you realize. Even though I've always adored the color red, I never really thought to incorporate it into my jewelry wardrobe. It thought that it would be too restrictive, that I'd only wear it on special occasions. That has so not turned out to be the case. I reach for them often.

The summer months are an especially good time to wear your cranberry red freshwater pearl necklace. You'll rock the style with a glowing summer tan. Red against sun kissed skin is beautiful! Anyone can wear red, it's just a matter of attitude.

How do red pearls get their color? They're dyed. The dye is permanent and doesn't wear off. They'll look fantastic year after year with just a basic amount of care. Either wrap them up or put them in a protective jewelry case, box, or pouch.

A simple and fast way to update your pearl wardrobe is to incorporate a gorgeous red pearl necklace. You'll be glad that you did, and you'll undoubtedly get a ton of compliments! Embrace color, don't be afraid of it!

Tell me how you feel about the color red!
